RouteSheet Lite Privacy Policy
Using the full RouteSheet app? Read the RouteSheet privacy policy.
The short version. RouteSheet Lite has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. Your pickups, notes and phone numbers stay on your device. To find addresses and work out the route and directions, the app sends addresses and locations to the routing and address services listed below. We don't sell anything about you, and we don't receive or keep a copy of your data.
This policy explains what the RouteSheet Lite app ("RouteSheet Lite", "the app") does with information. RouteSheet Lite is published by Telektronics LLC ("we", "us"). Questions: support@telektronics.com.
What stays on your device
- Your pickups: names, addresses, notes, phone numbers and their order.
- Your start and finish places, departure time and minutes per pickup.
- A cache of addresses you've looked up, so they don't have to be looked up again.
We don't run servers that receive this information, so we never have a copy of it. Device backups are turned off for the Android app. Spreadsheets you import are read on the device and aren't uploaded anywhere.
What is sent to other services, and why
RouteSheet Lite uses outside services to find addresses and work out routes. Each receives only what it needs, over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Like any website, they also see your device's IP address and basic technical details when the app contacts them.
| Service | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| OSRM routing servers: FOSSGIS e.V. (routing.openstreetmap.de), with the Project OSRM demo server as a backup | The coordinates of your start point, your pickups and your finish point. | To work out drive times, the best pickup order and the written directions. |
| U.S. Census Bureau Geocoder | The street addresses you search for or import. | To find the exact location of a street address. Census privacy policy |
| Photon by komoot GmbH | What you type in search, and a rough area (about 1 km) so nearby results come first. | To find places and addresses. komoot privacy policy |
| Nominatim, OpenStreetMap Foundation | An address, only when the other searches find nothing. | Backup address search. OSMF privacy policy |
Your notes, phone numbers and the names you give pickups are not sent to any of these services. They only appear on the sheet you print.
Location
RouteSheet Lite only uses your location if you choose "My location" as the start, and only at the moment you optimize the order or print. It never uses location in the background. The position is sent to the routing servers as the start of the route and isn't stored anywhere else.
Printing
When you print, the directions sheet is handed to your device's print system, which sends it to the printer or PDF you choose. That stays between your device and your printer; we don't receive it.
What we don't do
- We don't ask you to create an account.
- We don't show ads or use advertising IDs.
- We don't use analytics or tracking.
- We don't use the microphone, camera or contacts.
- We don't sell, rent or share your information for marketing.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays on your device until you delete it: remove pickups one by one, use Clear all pickups, or uninstall the app (or clear its storage in your phone's settings). Because we never receive your data, there's nothing for us to delete on our side. The outside services above keep their own technical logs according to their own policies.
Children
RouteSheet Lite is a work tool for drivers and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll publish the new version with a new effective date in the app and wherever it is posted online.
